2020 Election
Two Boomers Talking: The Election That Was. The New World That Is.
No matter the noise you hear, the pictures you see, the 2020 election is over. Biden-Harris won and no fantasy lawsuits and grumbling and shouting and tweeting are going to change that fact. Anyone who has closely watched this soon-to-be former President should not be surprised by what is going on. This is a person with serious mental health issues (I really mean that and I’m not a doctor). Because of that, we are being crushed by a big delusion, a bad trip, Hell, I would even go as far as what an overdose feels like, a falling into an endless hole. Sort of like a rabbit hole except there ain’t no rabbit living there.

My good friend, Thomas Fields, and I sat down via zoom to do a post-mortem on this election and to discuss the brave new world ahead. While Biden-Harris may have received the greatest number of votes in history, just remember that #45 received nearly 72-million votes. That’s no small group of Americans to ignore.
What’s coming for this New World
As of Monday, November 9, 2020, #45 had not yet conceded the race. No, he will string us along for the next month, at least until the Electoral College votes on December 14th (Read more HERE). I can guarantee you that he and his amateur election deniers will concoct some scheme to get Biden electors to change their votes or worse, try and get Republican majority legislatures to throw out the electors and vote in their own slate loyal to #45 (Yeah, good luck with that. Read more HERE). Of course, he could just ignore it all and just refuse to move. Some people have already considered that scenario. Read HERE and HERE. My advice for the rest of us if he tries, get ready to march on Washington, D.C.
