Dominicans Try The Only Dominican Restaurant In California

Okay, I am half-Dominican and half-Puerto Rican and I should know a lot more about Dominican food, especially since my mother who was Dominican did all the cooking. But, while she would occasionally mix it in, I’m sure most of what she cooked was Puerto Rican food in deference to my father. However, there are dishes I affectionately remember. Check out Gadiel and Julissa as they take a trip to San Diego to eat at the only Dominican Restaurant they could find in California. The tried delicious Dominican Mangú and Sancocho.
