Young Voters & Baby Boomers Strongly Disagree on Dem Prez Nominee
“Young voters vs. old voters and the politics of age may define who the Democratic presidential nominee will be. A recent poll finds that young people and Baby Boomers are sharply divided on who should win the party’s nomination. Only 10 percent of people between 18 and 34 support Joe Biden while 39 percent of voters between 50 and 64 thinks he’s the best choice. That number rises to 46 percent for voters over 65. Elizabeth Warren’s numbers are about the same…25 percent regardless of age but Bernie Sanders gets 33 percent of the youth vote and only 3 percent of the Boomer vote. How will this impact the 2020 presidential election where despite their differences both young voters and old voters can agree on one thing … they want to make Donald Trump a one-term president.”
