What it means to be an American by Ezequiel Nunez
“Ezequiel discusses the experiences of his classmates and himself in the book, We Are America, that they wrote in a class with Jessica Lander at Lowell High School. Ezequiel Nunez is a senior, a Student-Athlete and a Master Sergeant at the AFJROTC (MA-771) program at Lowell High School. Mr. Nunez is an advocate and an activist, who co-organized two gun buybacks in the city of Lowell, has published an Op-Ed on the Lowell Sun and is a published author (We Are America). Ezequiel is currently committed to Fitchburg State University as a Biology (Pre-Med) Major. He hopes to work for the Trevor Project and other nonprofits that work with LGBTQ+ youth around the country.”
