Race and Racism in the Age of Trump

Race and Racism has been in the American DNA from our beginning. One cannot speak about our Original Sin without it causing rancor, thumb twiddling, deep sighs, and angry fingerpointing. This is one more effort to “discuss” the issue of race and racism in America but this time it’s about it in the the Trump era.

The 2017 Hutchins Forum was live today from Martha’s Vineyard. The forum was hosted by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and moderated by Charlayne Hunter-Gault. Panelists included Charles Blow, Alan Dershowitz, Asma Khalid, Leah Wright Rigueur, April Ryan and Armstrong Williams. Additional remarks were by Lawrence D. Bobo.
