Let’s respect mental disorders! by Zsazsa Wallace

“Day by day, you hear people speak about mental disorders without understanding what they are. This also causes bullying of people who have mental disorders or just behave differently from the average person. I want to help young people to understand what these disorders are and open their eyes to show them that they need to not only respect mental disorders, but the people living with them. Zsazsa Wallace is a 12th grade student at Bishop Michael Eldon School. She has obtained passes in eight Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) examinations. With a love for drawing, and painting, she aspires to be an artist and to open a Fine Arts School.”

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
