“Rindha Sudhini, a junior at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham, North Carolina, talks about her experiences growing up with discrimination based on colorism, the idea that shades of skin color are significant. She is interested in pursuing a career in law or international relations and has always been fascinated by getting to share and hear the stories of others. This time she is on the other end, voicing her experiences dealing with colorism and its hidden pain.”

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
