We found this gem that you must watch.

“We recently collaborated with Mariposa, a well-renowned poet, and filmed her as she performed her poem, “Poem for My Grifa-Rican Sistah Or Broken Ends Broken Promises,” which deals with issues of hair for AfroLatinas in society. Although our video does not utilize the entire poem, it hopes to still express the ideas that Mariposa is referencing in her piece. We invite you to watch the video, hear her poem, and let us know your thoughts.”
