“In her talk, Claire recounts her story of immigration, I.C.E. officers, and a fear around the current dialogue about immigration. She hopes to shift how people perceive immigration and sympathize with immigrants. Claire Dworsky is a senior at St. Ignatius College Preparatory, and as an actively involved student, she has founded the Cyber Security Club at her school. In her talk, Claire shares her experience of being an immigrant and recounts a close encounter with I.C.E. officers who threatened her safety and threaten the safety of so many others in this country right now.”

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
